Celebrated daddy’s birthday today at Kampachi, Pavilion :)
Tried the beef teppan for the first time and it was really yummy!
Anyway, dad’s officially turning 56 tomorrow and as usual, we spent the night talking about his childhood and reminiscing the past. We had such a good time talking during dinner that the entire conversation lasted for more than an hour!
I’m really thankful and blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive family :)
They’re probably the only people capable of making me laugh and cry any time of the day.
Listening to my dads stories about my second uncle and my grandma makes me a little sad knowing that I’ve missed the opportunity to meet such wonderful and inspirational people.
Makes me wonder how things would be like today if they were both still around :)
Anyway, enough of random thoughts /

I hope you enjoyed the chocolates I got you and the birthday lunch you had earlier this afternoon. Thanks for being such a role model in this family and for constantly loving and supporting me throughout my entire life. You’re an inspiration and I love you unconditionally even though I rarely express it to you. You’ll always be my number 1 person and I’m truly grateful to have you as my dad :)

Finally got to take a proper picture with Zara today! Man… She’s growing up so quickly! - Can’t believe she’s turning three this year already. Feels like just yesterday when she was still a little baby, learning how to crawl and talk…

We spent such a long time taking pictures with the self-timer after having dinner. All together, we used three different cameras and took literally close to ten group shots together!
Anyway, this picture turned out to be one of the best shots taken throughout the night! We look like such a happy-go-lucky family :)

Anyway! Happy birthday Amanda Janelle Quah! :) Hope you had an amazing time at your birthday party and may you be blessed with many more happy and joyful days to come! I just recalled that you’re the first senior I spoke to when I first came to Nottingham! That was during our first PsychSoc general meeting :)

Came home early from a lunch gathering this afternoon and I was feeling rather bored. Anyway, I had my camera with me so I spent quite some time taking pictures to occupy myself :)
Can’t wait for February the 4th to come! I’ll be heading down to Singapore with my family before uni starts and I’m really, really excited for Wicked! :)
